News: EuroCloud Summit 2024: Cloud Native in focus
Our colleagues Serdar and Stephan took part in the EuroCloud Summit 2024, where the new study “Between Cloud and Edge – Making Cloud Native Secure and Sustainable” was presented. As a proud sponsor and data-sovereign cloud provider, we have summarized the most important findings for you:
Cloud computing remains the focus of investment
47% of companies expect cloud computing to have the greatest impact on their IT expenditure in 2025/2026. Hybrid cloud models are particularly popular. At STACKIT, we rely on flexible and scalable solutions to fully meet this demand.
Cloud and AI closely linked
56% of companies see AI as a top trend. Many AI solutions are developed and operated cloud-natively – the cloud remains central to AI development. One example of this is the new AI assistance system F13, which will be used in the administration of Baden-Württemberg in the future. We are supporting this development with high-performance, secure cloud environments.
Skill gap slows down cloud native
24% of business managers and 15% of IT managers see a lack of expertise as a problem. A third are planning external help and increased training. We offer comprehensive support for migration to the cloud. Our colleagues from Professional Services are simply there when you need them to help you overcome challenges large and small.
Why is cloud native so important to us?
As a data sovereign provider, cloud native is close to our hearts because it enables agility, flexibility and scalability. These characteristics are crucial in order to meet our customers’ requirements and offer sustainable, secure IT solutions.
