What You’ll Do
- You support the development of a high-performance cloud platform with a focus on the VPN service
- You are responsible for the operation and further development of the VPN service in the STACKIT Cloud
- You ensure efficient automation and continuous optimization of the technical processes
- You create and maintain the professional documentation as well as the connection of monitoring and logging for stable operation of the solution
- You are part of a motivated agile team that always strives for improvements and continuously develops itself (and the products)
What You’ll Need
- You are a team player and have ideally already worked in an agile DevOps team for some time
- You have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and topics related to modern network architectures and cloud services
- You have already worked with cloud technologies and infrastructures
- You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
- You have in-depth experience in the areas of microservices, network-technology/-infrastructure, security and cloud solutions
- You are familiar with established routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF as well as tunnelling technologies such as IPsec
- You have experience working with Linux and as well as know how to use netfilter, systemd and Wireshark
- You are familiar with the setup and operation of VPN solutions (e.g. StrongSwan, WireGuard)
- You convince us with your scripting and programming experience, especially in Go and Bash and ideally already have experience in the development of APIs and Kubernetes controllers
- You already have several years of experience with virtualisation and containerisation environments
- You have successfully completed a degree in IT or have a comparable qualification
- You have a good command of German and English
